An article came out on the AP earlier today regarding Vladimir Putin's approval rating among the Russian people. Turns out that his approval numbers have just dropped below the 60% threshold. What this translates into is that Putin's stranglehold on power is beginning to come apart. This doesn't necessarily mean that he'll be under 50% by the time his term expires in 2024, and there's still a strong probability that his numbers won't get to that point.
